I'm married and in my early thirties. I have a small son. I've been working with the Tarot for about 4 years, but I bought my first deck when I was around 15 (1990's time) but I didn’t start toread the cards until I discovered The Tarot Association of the British Isles (TABI) in 2004.
I joined TABI after attending their first conference in 2005 and I haven't looked back since. I started reading the Tarot again in early 2004 but I was looking for an organisation of like minded individuals, and found TABI through the Children of Artemis website. After attending their first ever conference, I took their training course which provided me with excellent tutoring and also undertook and successfully completed their endorsement process as a Reader. This gave me the confidence to read professionally at Zen in Brindely Place on Saturday evenings.
I aim to start reading for TABI at Fairs in 2008.
I approach the Tarot as I might look in a mirror. I shuffle the cards on your behalf, thinking deeply about the question you've posed. Then I deal the cards out and see what is there. Because I'm not personally linked to the situation you're asking about, I often see something reflected in the cards that may have tripped you up, or be hiding from you . I aim to have a discussion with you, generally via email (but verbally if need be) and pick up background information. This helps me understand both why you're asking your question, and for me to help you phrase the question in the best way to help you.
Discovering the Tarot has lead to my developing other areas of interest - e.g. Mythology, Qabbalah, I-Ching, Astrology and Numerology.
